Pixel Sort Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Pixel Sort is an Android game published by Puntilo Studio (package com.puntilo.pixelsort). This page explains which data is processed when you play, why, and who receives it.

Data that stays on your device

The game stores on your phone your progress, your coins, your profile (avatar and, if you type one, a name of up to 16 characters) and your settings. There is no user account and no cloud copy: this data never leaves the device and is deleted when you uninstall the game.

Ads (Google AdMob)

Pixel Sort shows ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, that SDK collects and sends to Google: the IP address (from which an approximate location is derived), interactions with the app (launches, taps on ads), diagnostic data, the Android advertising ID and the app set ID. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS).

How Google handles that data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. What the SDK declares: Google Mobile Ads SDK Play data disclosure.

You can reset or delete the advertising ID and limit personalized ads from the Android settings (Google > Ads).

Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To learn which levels are hard and how much game players have left, Pixel Sort uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It sends three notices per level attempt: started, won or lost, with the level number, whether it is a replay and how many rescues were used. The SDK adds its automatic session and first-open events, an app instance ID and an approximate location derived from the IP address. It does not send the advertising ID for analytics, nor your profile name, nor your coins. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS).

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, this analytics follows your choice in the consent form (you can change it in Settings > Privacy): if you do not accept, only notices without an identifier are sent. What the SDK collects: data collected by Google Analytics for Firebase.

Your consent

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for your choice about personalized ads before showing any (Google User Messaging Platform, UMP). Your choice is stored on the device and you can change it from the “Privacy” button in the game settings.

Remote settings

At startup the game downloads from this website a small settings file (ad frequency and game economy). It is a regular download: the server hosting this website sees the IP address of the request, as with any web page; the game sends no other data.

Children

Pixel Sort is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
